Aristocrat Lo-Liner Dreamin'

Perry and I spent about 14 hours this weekend working on our camp trailer, painting, cleaning, repairing - mostly aesthetic. This trailer is a dream we've had for about 5-years. We were able to pick this '67 up at a great price from a friend of ours and have happily added our special touch to it...as the weather has allowed of course. Our maiden voyage will be this Memorial Weekend when we take it to the Battle Born Showdown Numero Dos in Virginia City, Nevada.

Desert Blooms

As you may have read, I live in Northern Nevada. I was born and raised in the Truckee Meadows and I am truly a desert girl. I love the big blue sky and sometimes pinks and blues, and sometimes reds and oranges of the sun setting behind the hills. Speaking of the desert you can see how beautiful it looks right now. I took these pics while on a hike with Jack & Joe (the lively corgis) in the hills west of my home. The yellow flowers look like daisies and I noticed on my third hike they turn there bright heads to the warming sun, but I do not know what the pink bush is, I'd love it if someone could enlighten me!
